Harry's Shack proudly holds the title of best restaurant in Northern Ireland 2015. Owner Donal Doherty and the rest of the Harry’s team work around the clock to create a  beach shack that is relaxed, atmospheric and above all, serves incredibly good food.

Situated on the sandy National Trust beach, Portstewart Strand, the ‘Shack,’ lies almost camouflaged amongst the dunes with views out to sea that are truly spectacular. The architecture of the building is quite abstract and angular -we wanted to design an apron that subtly complimented the building itself. We looked at the angular features of the exterior of the Shack and created pockets that replicated these shapes. The apron design is in keeping with the wooden clad walls and the interiors colour scheme.

The simplicity of the wooden shack is all part of Harry’s coastal charm. Restored wooden gymnasium floors and old classroom furniture create a laid back ambiance that welcomes you in after a long day at the beach. With almost all their vegetables grown in their huge walled garden, fresh fish caught daily and locally sourced meats – the menu is as wholesome and fresh as it gets.

Harry’s aprons are totally customised and we are very proud and honoured to have collaborated with such a talented group of people.
